History in the Making

The Experience Conference is in the making. This is the best and brightest in grass-roots movements and it needs your help!

Here are the background thoughts - notes about how I hope this conference will run...notice it is in digital form, not carved in stone or etched into iron. What does this mean to you? That you have an opportunity to be a part of the creation of this conference. You have an opportunity to write history at the very beginning.

Your input is valued and appreciated.

Here are my thoughts:

The Experience Conference will be held yearly, but will be divided up by US Time Zones. Starting in the Eastern time zone in 2011, Central in 2012, Mountain in 2013 and Pacific in 2014 to be started again in the Eastern time zone in 2015.

Each state will hold it's own Experience Conference. This will allow the states to discuss their own issues as well as tackle the issues that face the nation.

The number of invitees will depend upon the number of Electoral College votes each state is alloted. The number of electoral votes will be multiplied by ten (10). Ex. Oklahoma has 7 electoral votes. Therefore they will have 70 invitees to their Experience Conference. California has 55 electoral votes so after multiplying that by 10, they would have 550 invitees to their Experience Conference.

The selection process for the attendees should include nominations from the public as well as research performed by the conference organizers. This will not include a formal voting process but will be an informal process for people to call, email or write in nominations.

The Experience Conference will NOT fall into the hands of the government, but will remain a separate, not-for-profit organization focused on influencing our paid representatives in the capitol and offering solutions to issues for Congress and the Senate to vote on.

Please leave your feedback, questions, ideas etc.

Here's to putting government back into the hands of the people!
